New Space Experience (Meditation)
When I started searching about space, I found in dictionary,"The unlimited expanse in which everything is located, an empty area (usually bounded in some way between things) is space." Space is the boundless, three-dimensional extent in which objects and events occur and have relative position and direction. In simple words space with height and breath has one more element called depth. The various distance of depth creates various spaces. The extent downward, backward or inward known as depth. It is always hard to find depth in two dimensional surfaces. It can be achieved by the illusion of light and shadow. Colours may help to mould form and even to give depth to flat surfaces.
A series of suspended frames diminish in size down the length of the gallery acting as a canvas for the display of surface specific projected visual sequences. Within this constructed inter-dimensionality and through the development of abstract visual and sonic sequences I aim to create an illusory meditation environment. This is a film installation designed under the guidance of Prof. Mriganka Madhukaillya for the subject New Media.
